There are lots of skills needed in the organization to run and manage the business or an organization well to produce a product or perform a project. Well, SFIA is very important and one of the leading frameworks to follow for the information technologies professionals to follow and to have an organized organization of staffs. The skills are defined to be followed for the users and organization that will use the EU sfia skills framework.  The very first skill is Strategy and Architecture which talks about the information strategy including IT governance, information management, information systems coordination, information security, information assurance, information analysis, and information content publishing. Under the strategy and architecture, they have to take advice and guidance with the consultancy and technical specialism. Those are important for the proper flow of the organization. There is also the business strategy and planning that includes research, innovation, and business process improvement. It also includes enterprise and business architecture development, business risk management, and sustainability strategy. And lastly, the first skills are technical strategy and planning. This includes emerging technology monitoring, continuity management, software development process improvement, sustainability management for IT, network planning, solution architecture, data management, and methods and tools to use.

The second EU sfia skills is the business change that all about business change implementation with its portfolio, program, and management has to be well transformed into a better and more improved business. Under this is the relationship management for the stakeholder relationship has to be well emphasized and they have to feel welcome and pleased. Under this business change is the skills management that includes the management, assessment of the IT professionals of the organization. They must have the learning development and resources. The third to the list of skills is solution development and implementation which talks about system development, human factors, and installation and integration. Under the human factors of the solution development and implementation, it talks about the user experience, the ergonomic design factor, and the evaluation from the users if it was friendly or hard to use. The fourth skill is service management which talks more about the service strategy from IT management to financial management for IT. Service design has to maintain the capacity, availability, and service level management. The service transition from the acceptance, configuration, even to asset management up to the release and deployment of the IT professionals. And total service operation is under the service management. The service operations include software, security, database, the total IT operations, and the service desk and incident management. And fifth to the list of EU sfia skills are procurement and management support where that supply and quality performance are highly acknowledged and must be implemented at all times. And lastly is the client interface. This supports the sales and marketing also the client for the account and total client services.

The SFIA Framework allows people who manage resources for ICT, Software Engineering, and Digital Transformation and is independent of technology, method, or approach. It is a common reference model, a common language, comprising 7 Levels of Responsibility with 102 Professional Skills or competencies. Each Professional Skill is described at up to seven levels. SFIA is constant and steady throughout both in terms of its structure and also over the skills and Levels of Responsibility.
